We had to leave San Francisco. We packed up and headed on our way toward Napa. Before the wineries we stopped at some more outlets, and grabbed a bite to eat at In and Out Burger to see what all the hype was about. We still don't know. Their menu is essentially a hamburger, a cheeseburger, or a double cheeseburger, and a side of very mediocre french fries. Not delicious.
Shay did some winery research and wanted to check out Bouchaine Vineyards. We toured the vineyards and had a great visit with the host (who's name I cannot remember). She gave huge pours, and let us sample wines from different lists because she had stories about them. Needless to say we bought 4 bottles of different varieties. Sooo good.
And after all the sampling there was no need to visit another winery. We found our way to our pre-paid campsite at Bothe-Napa State Park.
